Course Description:
Begin on 500 W in Pleasant View near the intersection of 4050 N, and run down 500 W until you reach the dirt road at the Ogden-Brigham Canal route.  Turn left, and take the dirt road east, negotiating your way across paved streets until the dirt canal road ends and comes out onto 3100 N.  Continue east on 3100 N toward Ogden Divide canyon.  Leave the main road to the right as it comes into the Ogden Divide canyon, and take the trail off to the right hand side leading down toward orchards and the Pioneer Trail trailhead.  Go south on the series of trails and dirt roads until you reach the northern end of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.  Continue south on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail until you reach the turnaround point.  After going about two miles south of where you left 3100 N, turn back and retrace your steps back to the mouth of Ogden Divide canyon.  Once back on 3100 N, the main road, start downhill toward North Ogden and find the main powerline dirt road that leaves 3100 N to the right, and go north (right turn up).  Follow the powerline dirt road and trail system all the way around the eastern and northern end of North Ogden and Pleasant View, respectively.  Return to city streets near the water tower at the upper end of Cottonwood Drive.  Wind back down through the neighborhood to the point where you began.
